You've Got Questions, We've Got Answers!

What exactly is 4H?
4H is a very fun program for youth, ages 5-18 years. While in 4H kids will learn a lot dealing with the program category they are interested in. Being involved in 4H includes the opportunity to  attend camps, participate in fairs, trips and win prizes! 4H is a great way to learn hands on!

How and when do I join this 4H Program?
Most members that are involved in 4H sign up in the fall to keep up with all the activities and projects. Doing this will give them the chance to receive many awards that may have a deadline date. However it is not required to sign up in the fall you may join at any time. For more information about joining our 4H program please contact:

Does it cost anything to join?
4H is a free program no dues are required; however, individual clubs might need to raise money for whatever reasons it may be.

What do the theme colors and symbol mean?
To start off the 4H theme colors are green and white. The color green symbolizes the most common color found in nature. Also life, springtime, and youth are represented by this color. The color white symbolizes purity.
Our symbol is a four leaf clover with a H in each leaf. Each one of these H's stand for Head, Heart, Hands, and Health.

What all is available for me to do in 4H?
When in 4H you can do a number of things. For example:
  • You can sign up for a variety of different programs.
  • Attend many events and activities.
  • Get involved in a community club.
  • Or possibly just meet many good friends.
